Mexico City – The iPhone X went to pre-sale last Friday as scheduled, but the initial delivery date of November 3 has been postponed until December while the demand exceeds the amount of equipment available.
On the company’s website for Mexico, the shipping date for those who want to buy the new phone is marked for five to six weeks.
The iPhone X is available in storage options of 64 or 256 GB, and at a price of 24 thousand 500 or 27 thousand pesos, respectively.

Along with the official pre-sale of Apple or mobile operators, in MercadoLibre have emerged ‘presales’ that offer the phone at prices much higher than those defined by the company for your team.
A publication, for example, offers the iPhone X in 39 thousand pesos, assuring deliveries from November 26 and arguing shortage of units until after December 25. Other publications on the sale site offer the telephone in 34 thousand or up to 40 thousand pesos.
According to The Verge, one of the reasons that could explain the low availability of the equipment is the difficulty of Apple’s associates, including Samsung, to produce enough screens and components for Face ID, the security system that will replace the fingerprint in the new phone of the company.
Apple introduced the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 and iPhone X at an event on September 12 from California. While the first equipment went on sale on September 22, the latest model, which celebrates the tenth anniversary of the iPhone, was scheduled for November.
The iPhone X stands out for its 5.8-inch screen that practically eliminates the edges on its four sides, with the exception of an upper edge that divides the screen, and where the camera, speaker, microphone and security sensors are hidden.
